Y Ochurus

Administrator

Yolande Ochurus serves as the Administrator and Receptionist at the Emergency Management Training & Specialist Services. With experience in administrative roles, Yolande encompasses office management, customer service, and efficient communication, ensuring smooth daily operations at EMTSS. Beyond administrative duties. Yolande is committed to continuous professional growth and is dedicated to supporting EMTSS's vision.

J.D. Strauss

Instructor

J.D. Strauss is a dedicated and experienced Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP Intermediate) with a decade of hands-on experience in the emergency medical services (EMS) field. With a strong foundation in prehospital care, J.D. has consistently demonstrated a passion for saving lives, mentoring others, and advancing emergency care standards. Currently, J.D. is actively involved in the training of ECP Basic students, guiding them through an intensive and comprehensive course designed to prepare future professionals for the demands of the EMS environment. His deep understanding of emergency protocols, combined with real-world experience, positions him as a respected leader and educator within the EMS community.

V Kabuku

Senior Instructor

Vegan Kabuku, senior instructor at EMTSS. Was born in Katima, and raised internationally, he is a dynamic and expressive thinker, who can adjust to almost any environment. Being a hard-working professional, he takes pride in his work and is an overall top achiever. Ever professional, engaging, and well mannered, his classes are stimulating, educational, and well-informed. In addition, during his practical sessions, he simulates real life situations so that the students are better prepared and have a more rewarding experience. His words, “My students should be able to save my life if I needed them to within their scope.” Though his primary focus at EMTSS is currently the short courses Vegan also helps with our paramedical students as we endeavour to make that program benefit from our joint experience to deliver the highest quality,

D Grünschloss

Instructor

Danilo found from a young age that he had no doubt in what direction he wanted to go. Emergency services in general are his absolute calling and passion and as such he excelled, in Fire Fighting, Health and Safety and Hazmat. At EMTSS he completed his Emergency Medical Training (ECP-B) and we found him charismatic and able, as such he was further developed in our company and became one of our outstanding lectors. He is now our presence at the coast as he pursues his career and experience in practicing in his field of studies.

Z Beukes

Accountant Consultant

EMTSS is committed to the highest standards and as such uses Consultants of the highest caliber and qualifications to meet our operational needs. Zenobia Beukes is a detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy. She has been in the accounting sector since 1998 and has worked for more than 10 well know and prominent Namibian companies. She is friendly, affordable and reasonable in her client liaisons. She has a real love for people and is impassioned by the EMTSS vision.

J van Niekerk

General Manager

She has been in the paramedical field for the past 30 years, actively involved in pre-hospital patient care, medical rescue, road and aeromedical evacuations, and training of multifaceted courses ranging from basic to advanced medical / paramedical and firefighting and rescue techniques and the Health and Safety environment. She leads by serving. Her firm convictions for enhancement of the EMS standards and community upliftment make her always go the extra mile. ”I don’t believe we all have to grab a piece of the pie to survive. I believe if you act with integrity and we all take hands to give the best of each of us, God is the provider.”

Instructor

Erwin Jacobs is our EMTSS representative in Keetmanshoop and the Southern District. He is a Fire Fighter and Emergency Care Basic Practitioner who has the ability to equip people with powerful clear understanding of First day and Fire Fighting EMTSS presentations. He enjoys employing both a practical and theoretical method during training for real world application. He says, “I like working with EMTSS to contribute to a safety conscious culture, empowering individuals to save lives and stabilize incidents, as they help keep me up to date with the latest information through refresher trainings for OSH Act 11 ,compliance in our country.’’
